Sargent: A New Atlanta Beltline Restaurant for People Who Bring a Book Everywhere

I am that person.
There's almost always a book in my bag. Going somewhere alone? Book. Meeting a friend who might be five minutes late? Book. Have absolutely no realistic opportunity to read? Doesn't matter. Book.
I know that I'm not alone in that. Which is exactly what makes the concept of Sargent - a new restaurant/bookstore on the Atlanta Beltline - feel so perfect. It combines two things many of us already have very little self-control around: good food and books.

Books, Bites, and the Atlanta Beltline
Atlanta already has a ton of great places to grab dinner. We have plenty of bookstores I could happily disappear into for an afternoon. But putting the two together and right on the Beltline? Now you have my attention.
Sargent comes from the same team behind Lucian Books and Wine in Buckhead, so they already know a thing or two about pairing a good book with an even better meal. But Sargent isn't simply Lucian 2.0. It's a new concept built for one of the city's favorite places to wander.

Sargent has striking decor, a huge bar, a covered patio, and a menu that is already receiving national buzz in Garden & Gun. The bookstore won't simply carry books. It also features magazines and international publications.
Basically, Sargent feels designed for the kind of person who goes in for dinner and somehow leaves three hours later with a full stomach, a new book, and absolutely no regrets about either.
The first chapter has officially begun.
Sargent just opened and is now accepting reservations. I've already snagged my reservations and have accepted that I'll probably leave with a new book every time. And if you can't get a reservation, try your luck by just walking in. They say they keep a limited number of spots open for people hopping off the Beltline. I hope to see you there!
