FOX5 Atlanta featured our Barks and Bites: Beltline Doggie Crawl in two live segments last night. We were so thrilled to show off the restaurants we include on the crawl - McCray's Tavern and Chiringa - and our wonderful paw-tners, who provided goodie bags filled with toys and treats for the reporter's dog, Lola. Who was the paw-fect star, by the way.

We met meteorologist Laurann Robinson at McCray's Tavern on the Beltline, so we could share some yummy food with her adorable Maltese, Lola. This fiesty little ball of fur was the star of the show. She got a doggie bag filled with freebies from our paw-tners, including Piedmont Bark, Praline's Backyard, Thrive Pet Healthcare, Brutus Bone Broth, Big Daddy Biscuits and more. Plus, the two pet boutiques we stop at - Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming and The Clean Dog - prepared special grab bags just for Lola, with the cutest cookies and even a bandana with her name on it. Farmina Pet Foods also made a special appearance just for Lola, bringing yummy dental treats, water bowls and more. And we couldn't spoil Lola without sending her home with a fuzzy snuffle handmade by Ruby's Rootin Snootin Snuffles! Her mom said it's the perfect activity to keep her occupied.

Once the camera turned on, Laurann made Lola chief taste tester for the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak and pup cup from McCray's. These are off-menu items made just for our Beltline Doggie Crawl on Sundays.

And you know it's always pup-tail hour over here, so we served up barkaritas made with Brutus Bone Broth, good for their joints and digestion.

Adorable Lola clearly loves the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak served by McCray's Tavern on the Beltline Doggie Crawl

Next, we moved on to Chiringa, another restaurant on the Doggie Crawl - where Lola was more than eager to bite into their pup-friendly chicken taco. That's when Lola stole the show. She chowed down, trying to drag the taco away from us. Because she knew we might want it too.

We also brought the barkaritas with us - it is open container after all in the Krog District - so that Laurann and Lola could toast each other on air. When Laurann raised her mock margarita provided by Chiringa, though, Lola decided she'd had enough to drink, and needed more food to soak up all that broth. Way to be a responsible drinker, Lola.

Yes, we treated Lola like the celebrity she is. And when your doggie comes on our Beltline Doggie Crawl, they'll get the same 5-star treatment and more: restaurant food, shopping at pet boutiques, free swag bags, strutting down the Beltline. You get food, too, so you can enjoy a meal with your doggie. It's all included in the ticket price. And it's not just about spoiling the pups - it's also for a good cause, as a portion of the proceeds go to the Atlanta Humane Society and Furkids Atlanta. We're all about the doggies here.

We hope to see your "Lola" on our Doggie Crawl soon. Fall is already booking up quickly, so reserve your fur baby's spot now!
