Since we launched Barks and Bites: Doggie Crawl on the BeltLine a year ago, we have found dog lovers everywhere! One of them is our newest PAW-tner, Brittani D. of Bees Bark Bar, who creates handmade treats and apparel for pups. Her motto is "Where humans are considered the plus one." Now, these are our kind of dog people. Hear Brittani's story in her own words below.

I am, a woman, loving mother, proud daughter, a loyal sister and lastly an enthusiastic entrepreneur.
My business is one that was founded on love, and grew from passion. I was gifted my son Boss, from my cousin who lives in California. Boss quickly became my daughter Peyton’s baby brother and four-legged muse. We dressed him, fed him when we had dinner, he went on family outings and trips. From his imprint being made in our family, it sparked others inquiring was I able to make things for them and their fur babies. The rest is HERstory, in history.
As of today, Bees Bark Bar makes and creates all natural treats for fur babies. We don’t only stop at pups, the feline families are welcomed at the Bark Bar as well.
My inspiration and motivation comes from God and Dogs. When you look closely, and invert God, Dog(s) are there. However, I’m fueled to keep going when I meet the pups who aren’t treat motivated, but they gravitate to our treats, and shop our vendor booths when we’re in market. I’m forever grateful!
